PRINTS FOR OUR MEXICO
HOLA AMIGOS , How to find words when all I feel is a heartache? I will try my best to make my heart speak, and speak really loud.
That little girl full of hair is me and my imperfectly perfect family the day I was born. I was lucky to be born surrounded by the people that keep pushing me to believe LOVE IS EVERYTHING. Love is worth fighting for and especially families. THEY ARE EVERYTHING. And those are the reasons I am fundraising money. I aim to help others to reunite with their loved ones, and I will do as much as my reach can take me to help make that possible.
Being born in Mexico, I grew up knowing and understanding what empathy means, what unconditional love is, but most importantly what it is to remain humble and to always lend a hand to those in need around me.
As many of you may know, Mexico is suffering due to a big earthquake that happened on September 19th and also a couple of days before that in others states. My family is safe. However, not a lot of people are as lucky as we are. People are mourning their missing family members, little kids are still stuck under buildings, volunteers are flying from everywhere to help my people, trucks are loading as much help as possible to help my PEOPLE, and that sole fact humbles my heart in ways it is hard to describe. My eyes filled with tears to know there are so many kind humans around. People that show LOVE, KINDNESS, EMPATHY AND HUMANITY to those in need.
There are so many things in life we might regret but HELPING OTHERS will never be one of them. I believe every little or big effort counts and although I cannot be there in presence MY HEART BEATS SO INSANELY STRONG for my Mexico. So, here I am offering this series of photographs, my favorite photographs I have taken through out the years while in Mexico, my Mexico.
I wish, I wish so hard you click and buy not only one, two, three, but many and help me fundraise money for all the needed ones in MY - OUR - Mexico.
Mexico shaped the way I see and feel the world. Now and always is my turn to give back through my art to the place that built who I am, small woman but with a heart that screams loud through my love.
All the proceeds of these prints will go on donation to Rescue Brigade Topos Tlaltelolco A.C. a non- profit who are a specialized group formed by civil volunteers and funded uniquely by donations of people like you and me.
I HOPE WITH ALL MY HEART that you reach into your heart and donate to help your neighbor country, because every little bit counts.
Mexico and its people need you. Show kindness to our Mexico.
Please be patient with shipping times. I will work as hard as possible to make them all arrive to you as soon as possible.
