Artist-Maker's Story: O-Lab Pottery in México by photos bycorona

I had the opportunity to travel to México a couple of months ago to photograph this gorgeous artisan ceramic work. O-Lab is a Mexican Women Owned business specializing in functional-emotional pottery design. And that itself, made me so honored and exited to tell their story as they approach their 10 year anniversary.

I approached this session as a visual narrative of their story, their details and their artisan work on each of the pieces. This series was photographed 100% on traditional film.

Cannot wait to keep celebrating next to other makers milestones. Artisans bring so much heart and emotions to a home. It is a complete honor to tell this type of stories over and over again.

Degetau Soberon Family in their home | México by photos bycorona

It seems like it was yesterday that I was dreaming to photograph families all over different countries. I aim to show the strongest bond I have ever witness: families; but this time, to photograph them as a universal feeling, a universal force no matter where on earth.

This family story was photographed 100% on Kodak and Ilford film during my travels to Mexico. I will never grow tired or forget to feel grateful for families opening the doors to their homes so I can tell their stories with my camera.

I hope you love this session as much as I did!

Minimalistic Anniversary Session: Cinthia + Raul by photos bycorona

My husband and I just got photographed for our anniversary and I loved seeing US being us, without wedding stuff if that makes sense. It is just beautiful to be able to keep telling a couple's growing story through marriage. I couldn’t be happier to have photographed this anniversary session on black and white film

Have you had your story be told as your grow older together?
