|| From carvings to Thanksgiving cravings || / by photos bycorona

I could not stop myself from posting some of this Thanksgiving deliciousness and of course some thoughts that couldn't stop going through my mind.

When we gather together we bring so much to our table on Thanksgiving, I mean, besides all the crazy home cooking, the amount of people gathering in one small house, and the airport delays.  We bring hearts full of hopes and challenges, joys and concerns to the table. We bring our lives, our hearts, our losses, our loves, our dreams, and our hopes. We bring ourselves, whole and complete to a table where other tender hearts are united on such a special day. A day when our hearts are reminded to be always tender, sweet, joined, and held together by what means the most in this world: LOVE - something I will always be grateful for in my life and what will always give meaning to my life.

As many of you may know, I wasn't raised celebrating this holiday, but now that I celebrate it next to my husband, I am grateful to have a day (and many more) dedicated to being fully grateful for all the wonders in our lives, to feel and to share our appreciation for the people that make our little world so wonderful and full of warmth, strength and that keep beautiful connections.

This year has been full of change - too much, a year full of happy tears and sadly,  full of heartbreaking tears too.

This year I am incredibly grateful I am here, that we are here, right now, sharing our lives together with the people that matter the most, supporting each other in good and raw times and most importantly, I am grateful for making every moment count.

Hope you had a beautiful Thanksgiving!!
